Youth Football Club was founded in 1972 and has gradually evolved from a
few boys (member of 2nd Charlestown Scout group) playing on a park
pitch in ·

Clubs Objective : To arrange social activities and association football matches for its members

: Originally formed as an extension of 2nd Charlestown Scout group under the
name of Charlestown United.
1993
: Moved from Charlestown Park to Trewoon.
2000
: Reconfigured Trewoon Pitch layout.
2002
: Introduced Girls Football.
2003
: Changed name to Charlestown Youth Football Club
: Refurbished Changing Room facilities.
2004
: FA Charter Standard Club.
: Formed a Football link with Luxuylan PS
2005
: Acquired land and planning Permission for Football Pitches / Buildings
/ Carpark at St Mewan Park (Nanphyssick)
: Formed a Football link with StMewan PS / Carclaze PS / Charlestown PS
2006
: Received 2006 FA Charter Standard Club Award

: Mini-soccer centre set up for children ages 5-7
